Marc, our eldest son, married Chelsea Valerie Catherine Collonge on October 4, 2009. He found Chelsea, well actually our very dear new "daughter" Chelsea found him.
Marc had been living the single life for many years and with a self-imposed vow of poverty, establishing the Trinity House in Albuquerque, New Mexico (a Catholic Worker Chapter with community outreach for homeless and persons in need in the area, with the approval of the the local Catholic Diocese and with a Board of Trustees to help him). He has always been truly committed to his work and to peace activism, with Pax Christi and the Nevada Desert Experience. A difficult situation in which to find a bride who is committed to the same ideals, moral outlook, and being comfortable with this.
Little did anyone know that God's gift to him and to us was Chelsea. But I think we knew before he did after meeting her for the first time a couple of years back.
