Our nine grandchildren continue to be special gifts to us, and we thank our children for them.

Other gifts include our continued good health (in spite of the surgeries we have had along the way in the last 9 years). We continue our volunteer activities especially when you see the benefits for others. Besides it keeps us young!

After both of us working in Law Enforcement/Corrections for many years, Miriam last as the Administrative Secretary for Yuba County Probation and me as the Deputy Director for the California Board of Corrections, we still love working with others in the many Catholic and secular community outreach programs.

These continue to be website development ministries on behalf of parishes within the Diocese of Sacramento, Pro-Life organizations in the state, RCIA Catechists, the California Catholic Conference Legislative Network, feeding the homeless individuals and families in the river bottoms, etc.

We do do much more traveling and pictures and videos from these great trips are posted here on the website (check out the side menus). These include the so many wonderful sites in our U.S.A. and we still find more.
